Coastal hospitality, Core Creek style
Core Creek Inn started with a simple idea — build the kind of place we'd want to stay when visiting the North Carolina coast, then open it up to everyone else.
Core Creek Inn sits just outside downtown Beaufort, North Carolina, on a quiet stretch near the water that's close to everything and far from the noise. What started as a single farmhouse renovation grew into a duplex built for two very different kinds of trips — one side big enough for the whole family, the other simple enough to settle into for a while.
We're the Foster family, and we host Core Creek Inn the way we'd want to be hosted: a coffee bar that actually works in the morning, water you don't think twice about drinking, and enough parking for a truck and trailer when the fish are biting. It's a short drive to the Beaufort waterfront, the beach, and the boat ramp — and close enough to MCAS Cherry Point that we've gotten to know a lot of visiting military families over the years.
Whether you're here for a week on the water or settling in for a longer stay in the Bungalow, our goal is the same: make the place feel ready before you even walk in the door.
